CDS currently provides 3 types of service to the
UK dispense sector.
Dedicated
Teams - As a part of our partnership approach we have 2 teams of technicians
working exclusively for individual brewers and
carrying out installations, planned preventative maintenance visits,
quality checks, audits and service calls on their behalf. The teams
work
in brewery liveried vans and wear branded uniforms. Current dedicated
models operate for both Budweiser and Heineken.
Single Service Provision (SSP) - Working
directly for the "PubCo" we
are able to substantially improve service levels whilst simultaneously
reducing costs. This model also gives the customer total freedom of
choice with regard to the choice of equipment both behind the bar and
in the cellar, removing the previous constraints of the brewer funded
model. This has come about since the “unbundling” of the
price of a
barrel of beer, which enables the purchaser to see how much of that
price was set aside for the provision of technical services, with a
view
to sourcing both service and equipment elsewhere. We are able to cover
both beer and soft drinks meaning that installations previously
requiring as many as five engineers and their vans can now be completed
by just two engineers and one van.
Generic Service and Installation Work
- Our Generic team provides nationwide service and installation to both
brewers and the free Trade.
We have a national footprint and all work is completed by our own fully
trained engineers. At CDS we believe in
having total control of our
workforce and not being reliant upon 3rd party sub-contractors. Our
generic engineers are trained in beer/soft drinks and cellar gas
systems and operate 365 days per annum.
